Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic eyebrow tattoo that lasts between 1-2 years depending on the individual. Some people need or like to have more frequent touch ups to keep their brows looking extra fresh. Pigment is deposited into the skin using a handheld device with a microblade attached. This blade is used to create hairlike strokes on the skin to create the look of naturally symmetrical brows.
The Microblading session takes approximately 1.5 hours. When you first arrive, Taylor goes over a consultation form with you and then applies the numbing cream. Over the next 30 minutes, Taylor goes over the aftercare process, what to expect, what to do an what not to do and she chooses a pigment that works best for you. After the numbing cream sets in, she maps out and shapes your brows, consults with you and then begins the Microblading process. Additional numbing cream is often applied at the half way point. After consulting with you once more and making any requested adjustments you are ready to go!
Ombre & Combo Brows
Ombre brows are machine shaded brows that typically last longer than microblading. They create the look of soft makeup on the brow area. This process is very similar to microblading only a handheld machine is used rather than a manual tool. The appointment usually takes around 2.5 hours to complete.
Combo brows are the best of both worlds for many! You get the longer lasting shading option in combination with some microbladed hair strokes for a more natural look. This appointment takes around 2 hours to complete.
